I have been using Dell Vostro 2520 since 2 years and my experience with this particular laptop is pretty good, no problem so far. I can't tell you how powerful and durable this machine is. This laptop is best in its range. By far the best laptop under RS 30, 000 budget.
Built and Design: Looks good with matte back, no chance of slipping when handling, and sturdy outer build. Mine Vostro 2520 is a 2.36 kg laptop and black colour provides it a subtle good looks with a classy finish. Keyboard is buttery smooth and you will love typing on it for longer period on time without any pain. Your fingers will fall in love with its keyboard. THe plus point of this laptop is its broader trackpack which makes it easier to scroll without much effort.
Screen: It offers a 15.6 inches HD antiglare display which is pretty cool for gaming and watching movies. The HD LED display offers better viewing experience and the anti-glare feature will ensure more comfort to the eyes specially when you are watching movies on your favorite laptop.
Processor, RAM and Graphics: It offers an Intel Mobile HM75 Express chipset processor that is clocked at 2.4 GHz and has 3 MB cache. The 2.4 GHz third Generation Core i3 Processor and 4 Gb DDR3 RAM makes it a Powerpacked performer. The RAM of 4GB DDR3 can be expanded up to 8 GB. It comprises of Intel HD Graphics 4000 which is capable of handling moderate gaming requirements. Excellent performance gives 6.9 cpu, ram, hard disk rating.
Storage, Multimedia and battery: It provides a staroge of 500 GB which is sufficient space as per my requirement. With an internal digital mic and 2x2 Watt Speakers, the laptop gives you good entertainment quality and video chatting is made clear and fun by the 1 MP HD web camera. Dell Vostro comes with a 6-cell Lithium-Ion battery which draws power from a 65 watt AC adapter. It provides a backup of atleast 3 hours after fully charge which is good as per me, most of the lappy won't give ya more than 2.5 hrs backup.

Bad Points: I didn't find any negative point in it so far, so if you are thinking about buying a lappy then just go for it. It is best for home and official use.
