The Dell Studio 15 is meant for graphics professionals and casual gamers. The specifics of the laptop are described below -
CPU/RAM: The laptop comes with the option of the latest processors and ample RAM. Needless to say, Windows 7 runs very smoothly. Other heavy programs(like Adobe Photoshop) also run quite well.
Graphics: The laptop comes with the option of a low to medium graphics card, which targeted at graphics driven applications(like Photoshop, Illustrator) and casual gaming. Note that, the latest games will not run in the higher settings and will cause heating problems as this laptop is not designed for heavy gaming.
Looks/Build Quality: The outer cover can be customized from a wide variety of options available on the dell website. The overall looks of the laptop is very impressive and borrows from the successful design of the Dell XPS line of laptops. The build quality is rugged and is not easily damaged. The laptop is slightly on the heavier size owing to its large screen and the(optional) 9 cell battery.
Battery: The laptop comes with an optional 9 cell battery which can give a battery life of upto 6 hours in normal use.
Hard Disk: You can equip the laptop with upto 500GB of storage space, which is pretty useful for storing multimedia and the big graphics files.
Service/Support: The Dell website has all the necessary drivers and applications which ship with the laptop. Some of them(like Dell QuickSet, which shows notifications for the special key presses) are quite useful.
All in all, this laptop provides great value for money and is a must buy if it is in the budget range. Also note that I've attached the full specification of the laptop in an image, as the specifications in the website don't do it justice.
