Dell has a great market share in laptops, major professionals and firms choose dell and let me tell you this whole custom is a dogma I decided to go with this laptop just because it was popular, inspite having the cheaper choices with better specifications( like - hp laptops which even had dedicated gpus) .
When the laptop arrived it was no doubt beautiful as hell, everything looked off the hook the packaging was cool and the logo was shining bright( perhaps its for these fine looks and their product marketing is the reason people agree to pay far more than they are getting), I was very happy with the performance first up - the 4GB ram seemed quite well to do most of the job easily.
One day a friend of mine appeared with his 35K hp pavillion notebook and we decided to compare which one was better performer and guess what my dell was shattered in every single taks we put to test it the only better thing about mine was its battery lasted 30 min longer than his but the point is that why pay more to get just mediocre results.
After that day i've tried r unning many high end video editing softwares and CAD Programs and they made my laptop hang a few times and also gaming on this laptop is such a pain - I tried running modern warfare 3 on it, the game ran on 17 - 19 fps even in the medium - low settings and the fan was so noisy and the hood started heating up, I mean what's the point of spending 40K and not being able to play 5 year old games.
So do not buy this laptop, not because its bad or anything but because there are better choices which have better value of money than this one.
