I have been using the Dell Inspiron 700m for the last 4 years. And I must say its the smartest buy since. Love the product. WIth the added battery, the lap is lasts enuf to watch an entire HINDI movie without charging it.
The service offered by Dell is superb as well. It is extremely efficient and timely managed. The engineers are very particular about handling the product and servicing. On time for their appointments. The on-call service team is also courteous and prompt.
Another fabulous aspect is the overall weight: the lap + charger. Extremely light. Its gr8 to travel with.In terms of aesthetics, I think Dell needs to work on their designs. Since they have such a great product, they will have an out n out winner if they were designed well. I dont mean skins, but the outer casing. Look at the Vios. They look good.
Nonetheless, at this cost, the Dell is a steal!!!
