I'm not a technology-inclined person, so I am not up on these things. I have no idea what the consensus is on this particular make and model. All I know is that it works. It isn't anything to write home about. It should work, don't you think? I use it for the usual: email, facebook, pictures, editing said pictures, Netflix and other streaming videos, documents and such. Before I bought it, people in other reviews complained about the noise. It was too quiet, apparently. I have not had this problem. In fact, I'm constantly lowering the sound.
A problem: sometimes the touchpad doesn't work. It just stops. I cannot fix it in any way that I know of. I've tried. Oh, have I tried. I like to scroll. I despise having to click on the little arrows at the top and bottom. I love it when it works the 95% of the time.
It turns on and off quickly, no long wait times for apps to launch, even if I have other things going. I've seen the little blue circle only a handful of times since I've had it.
The screen is a little odd. It hurts my eyes, though I've turned the brightness down as far as would be reasonable.( I don't have the best eyesight.)
I can't think of anything else to say that would be helpful.
