I own a Dell Inspiron 1425, Well here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
Excellent design and compactness
competitive price
Cons:
Dell Laptops heat a lot, when u call customer support they say its normal.
The materials they use is of low quality, something will fuse in first few weeks.
Position of speakers is not proper
Very few USB slots
