I purchased a Dell Inspiron 5420 in February 2013. Within a month of purchase I saw some vertical lines on my screen and some clearly visible pressure sectors.
Also my computer was running a bit slow so I complained to dell regarding the service and they replaced the parts. In a years 8 or more times the screen was changed and also numerous parts was replaced. the entire laptop was then built with refurbished parts. But still the problem persisted.
Every time the solution provided was temporary and they never did acknowledge that their laptop has an design error. Every time the lines appeared at the exact same spot. My warranty expired in April 2014 but the problem was still there. As I had reported the problem in the warranty period I received an out of warranty support.
Even after that, the problem still persists. Moreover, the Last engineer that came to install the WLED screen, he accidentally left the Optical drive not intact and it resulted in a damage of the drive. Now when I report this problem to dell, he simply deny me any service.
Moreover their customer care is so rude to Dell Laptop owners. I feel ripped off and robbed of my savings by buying dell, Please don't ever buy dell. Its a waste of money and you will go through an emotional turmoil because of buying dell. Shitty Laptops, Poor Service, Faulty Designs and Rude Customer Care.
