On 6th July, 2010, I bought my Dell 14'' Inspiron series laptop from a Dell Authorized Center. They took approx. 7-8 hrs in installation & configuration of the laptop so I reached home at 11pm.
Next morning, when I used it first time, "SLEEP" option was not working. I complaint it at Dell Authorized Center and they suggest me for "Dell customer care". After spending 5-6 hrs on phone, 2-3 hrs on internet (through remote access), they told me to install operating system again. I've installed 3 times different versions of Windows 7 but I was facing the same issue each time.
After 12 days, a dell executive visited my home & after spending 4-5 hrs, he suggest to replace the laptop as it was a faulty piece. They've picked my laptop for replacement and I didn't receive my replaced laptop till now.
3 months have been passed and I'm still waiting for my laptop. I tried to contact them on phone, through mails, & through twitter as well but they are just careless.
Now, I'm thinking of going to consumer forums for this but I learned a lesson that "NEVER BUY DELL LAPTOP".
