First of all I would say that this review is not for those who want to spend more than 6000-7000 rs on a monitor peolple who want to spend more may follow any oither advice. Starting from the beginning.
The monitor is an led monitor having a resolution of 1600 by 900 and it is a 19.5 inch monitor but believe me its quite ok as a big screen. I have been using the same monitor for over a year now and haven't got any problem with it. the resolution of 1600 by 900 looks quite good on its 19.5 inch frame.
I would say its ok for gaming or video editing purposes, but not that great. it has a contrast ratio of 1000:1 it has its power button and menu buttons on the lower right hand corner and they are very responsive and easy to use. the make, build quality of this monitor is quite good considering the price. I got it from local shop at exactly rs6000 but in flipkart or snapdeal or amazon it might cost a little more . I would recommend to buy it from a local shop price might be less. also it has a warranty of 3 years.
This monitor also has many color settings and many presets to select from and it has a good aspect ratio of 16:9 which is quite good for gaming.also its stand is good it does not shakes or wobbles. overall the dell e2014h is a good performer for every kinds of use and it provides value for money.picture quality is excellent and also can be wall mounted.and no dead pixels after long use.
So if anybody is on a low budget I would say this one is the best one out there to buy. below is the specs listed:
