Just recently bought this new Dell E1609 W LCD monitor after my CRT monitor went for repairs. I was actually holding on to my old LG 17inch CRT monitor for quite long time as I wanted to have some cheap and branded LCD monitor.
Finally, when my old monitor gave up during my most needy time so I had to exchange this for new Dell LCD monitor. E1609 is basically a 16inch monitor with wide screen display. I got this for a good price of 5300/- and 500/- discount for my old non working monitor in exchange.
I found this new monitor to be very good as my eye strain seemed to be reduced and off course the power bill too. The only disadvantage with it is that it is has max resolution of 1366 x 768.
