Delhivery Late-delivery. Review on Delhivery

I had ordered from an online shopping site and they had sent it through Delhivery Courier. I was in constant touch with the tracking facility they provide.

It had reached my area in 4 days, on 30th June 2016. Since they hadn't called nor delivered by 2nd July, I went to their office myself and enquired about my order. They said they had tonnes of irders coming so they haven't opened the bag in which my package is and asked me to come in 2 days.

I did so. Again they said it was still in the bag and they haven't opened it. I got furious and asked of they were ever going to give my package. It got frustrating because it had reached my area on 30th June and it was already 7th July. I thought of not receiving it if they ever gave me since it was a COD. So on 11th July, finally they call to inform me that my package has arrived and to collect it from their office. Since I wanted the order I had to go and collect it by paying tha charges.This was just one incident.Another time similar thing happened, my package had reached the area and it wasn't being delivered. So I contacted Purplle and Nykaa since I had shopped from them, they had assured to get the package delivered in 24hours.

Purplle did so, I got it the next day. But the package from Nykaa was late, not late in reaching, but late in delivering or rather delhivering.Since then I ask all the online sites I shop from to not send through this courier partner, but can't really guarantee as they opt for whichever is lowest.Third thing about this company is, the staffs are rude and very very unprofessional. They have recruited the most rude and indisciplined bunch of employees.Who takes 11 days to deliver once it reached the area?
