Delhi Transport Corporation(DTC) is public undertaking of Delhi Government, which ply buses on Delhi roads. This is considered as the life line of Delhi. It also boast to be worlds largest non polluting green buses fleet. However, they fail to aspiration of the commuters of Delhi. Now, this has become the worst services in Delhi.
Mainly, it is the behavior and attitude of the operating staff driver and conductor, which annoys the most. Drivers never stop the buses properly and passenger have to forced jumped on and off from the running buses. Women generally fall prey of this.
Driver also do not open the front gate for the ladies and they have board from the rear gate. DTC conductors mostly try to avoid to return the petty balance on the pretext of chiller. If you are new in Delhi, it is very difficult as the conductors never announces the next bus stop. Rude and quarrelsome drivers and conductors do not care for the convenience of the passengers. They never drive in lane, run negligently and stop with jolt. If you are not alert, you may fell in the bus.
There are many helpline numbers inscribed in DTC buses but they seldom work and you have to travel on your own risk. This attitude of the drivers and conductors have forced the gentry away from the DTC services and to drive on their own vehicle, which further aids to the traffic jam and increased choking pollution in Delhi. I myself avoid ride of DTC and prefer the other means due their reckless behavior.
