The most important responsibility as a parent is to provide your Child the best education. This topic is a never ending stress on the parents from the time of admissions till the time they graduate. It is a competitive world, so it is important to select the best campus for your childs development and progress.
So the best approach, is to select the schools in your vicinity, that are renown and have a good academic record. I also stress upon locality, as I dont agree in selecting a school, where my child has to travel for hours for daily commute. The school should be within 15-30mins drive from your home.
Which is why, I have chosen Delhi Public School Chennai as one of my options for my son, even though it is a newly opened school. But the pro's are that DPS has a good track record, you can counter check with their existing schools. And I recently have been to the campus, and met with the Principal. The main building is still under construction, but should be ready in time for the academic session starting in June this year. The campus, academic program, faculty, fee structure is comparable to any other good schools in Chennai. So now I just expect them to keep up with the standards set by the DPS brand.
