DPS South is one of the Best School in South Bangalore. They do not have randomly changing Teachers, Teaching staff is old and very experienced. They have Behavioral Psychologists, Behavioral trainers, Doctor, Sports trainers, Sports coaches, Extra co-curricular teachers who train students in music, Dance and Art are superb. They have teachers who train parent to deal with adolescent Child at home. They conduct training programs for parents as well. Its basically what you want to take from the school, option is yours.
Agreed the front desk staff is not good infact bad.
Its a challenge to handle so 400+ students in a class, and they are able to do it well, they have several support staff contributing to various activities.
I have also seen children very well mannered . May it be the International Basket ball referee, Winner of Beauty pageant, jr. Indian Idol, and several state and national level players, academic scholars; are from this school.
There are many additional and extra classes being conducted for Sports.
This is one of the school open for all the competitive exams and Olympiads. Its open to students and parents to opt, no compulsion.
One of my child is not very interested in studies, but in past 2 years I have seen drastic change in child towards studies and active participation in co-curricular activities. Only thing is I had regular meeting with Teacher and both learning from each other on how to benefit the child. Its Win-Win situation if Parents patiently listen to teachers, Its for child's well being.
This school has minimum fees in the whole CBSE schools in South Bangalore. DPS is the only school that does NOT have regular increase of 5 or 10% fees Year on Year.
Academically child becomes confidant and results are being shown from past several years.
