I got a chance to visit Delhi a week before. I was pleasantly amazed about the Delhi Metro in place. I heard that even Delhi Metro finished their ten years of successful journey.
I would like to post my review here.
Delhi Metro can give a sheet of paper describing the routes to public or make it available to the visitors atleast in main station like New Delhi Metro Station( next to the Railway station).
I got a chance to use the Metro to reach the Domestic airport. I took a ticket to reach the Aerocity. At this instant, I was not knowing the fare to reach the aerocity. I gave a hundred rupee note to the ticketing agent. He gave me the token. He is also kind enough to tell me where to get down. But, he was conveniently not telling me the charge for this travel. He was trying to take away the Rs.20 to his pocket. When I asked for the receipt, then he printed the receipt and gave me the Rs.20 back. I was surprised and since it was a good number of passengers behind me, could not really question the agent.
I would suggest all the new users of Delhi Metro to understand the fares and then give money to the ticketing agents. There could be many ticketing agents who make money like this by fooling the innocent customers.
