The Book Fair organised at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi in the month of August was excellent. I found many books of interest there at very reasonable prices. Books on each and every topic almost was available there. Though the theme of exhibition this time was on women but books related to every topic and suited to every age was there.
The drawback of the book exhibition organised at such large scales at pragati maidan was that of lack of security arrangements. There was so much chaos and many people hanging on same stalls at same time. Cases related to thefts I heard were reported. One had to be very careful about thefts there while been lost in the world of books, specially the book worms like me.
The only book I could not find there was a full version of Alice in Wonderland. I have been looking for the same for a long time. I love to read such fairytales. I am waiting for the next book fair to come .
