Aamir Khan Productions and UTV Motion Pictures present the most awaited movie of the year, Delhi Belly!
Written by Akshat Verma and directed by Abhinay Deo, the'A' certificate movie is worth watching.
The film revolves around three room-mates, Tashi Malhotra(Imran Khan), Nitin Beri(Kunaal Roy Kapur) and Arup(Vir Das). The story unfolds when Tashi's girlfriend Sonia(Shenaz Treasurywala) agrees to deliver a package for Vladimir Dragunsky(Kim Bodnia). From here, it's a helluva ride for the Delhi boys!
The editing is brilliant with Huzefa Lokhandwala making sure the movie doesn't get a tad too predictable. There are quite a few moments that will take you aback not because you didn't know that or you haven't seen people doing it, just for its sheer on-the-face attitude. The entire movie is made keeping in mind the youth of today, the India we see and deal with today and the person that we all are. Look around and there are many like these three Delhi boys. Some scenes/moments were just not what we have been seeing in Bollywood. But this is the new age cinema and I loved it, simply because it was the way it is.
Music score by Ram Sampath goes well with the entire Delhi plot. And not to forget, loved Aamir in and as'Disco Fighter'. Awesome!
Also, fantastic performance by Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapoor(I think he acted in the Zee TV hit 'Hip Hip Hurray', not sure)
