No luck this time for Rakeysh Mehra. RDB was an experiment which was very successful but this is a failed experiment based on a successful trial.

All the actors were "overacting" and the movie was looking like a movie of a very small village instead of Delhi which is one of the biggest cities of the world and capital of world’s largest democracy.

A petty inspector was overpowering mighty American. None of the actors was successful in maintaining the continuity of the Character. At one instance they are very supportive and at other instance they appear as weird. There were no dialogues given to Abhishek and as usual he failed to perform his part whatever was provided to him.

I went to see the charisma of "Rang De Basanti" in this movie but not even a hint of the excellence of RDB was there in this movie. Delhi was shown as something we have never seen. It may appeal to foreigners but not to Indians. Sensitive issues and dialogues were touched without any purpose.

Archaic special effect of road moving in the background was used too frequently in the movie which were easily recognizable.

Sonam was looking good but the other girl scored over sonam. Movie failed to display any chemistry between Sonam and Abhishek but in the climax the director tried to show extreme love for each other quite unsuccessfully.

Movie also failed to convey the real message. The overacting of the actors was clearly visible. The saving grace of this movie is the Song Masakali which came from nowhere and has no relevance at all in the movie.

Overall a very poor performance which may be a result of overconfidence of Rakeysh Mehra. No need to watch the entire movie just watch the trailer.
