Dehradun Is awesome hilly area which I enjoy very much as I visited dehradun last months with my friends for maiden trip to North India. I tend to visit more and more.
Dehradun is the capital of Uttrakhand which is located at the foothill of Himalaya region of Garwal. It is nesled between Ganga river in the east and River Yamuna on west. It has beautyfull pictiquorous landscape with lots of tourist destination like Haridwar and moussuri which are well for Hindu Holly places.
Now concerned about the connecetivity as road and airways are very frequent to visit this place. Golly Grant airport is 25 km.far away from the valley of Dehradun where you hire the public transport to visit the airport. Apart from airways the highways are also connected to Delhi as well near to big cities of India. Buses are plying daily acording to its time table coñnecting all the major cities. Five star hotels are available for accomdations. Apart from this IMA is also very atrractive as I visited this where Army Officers are trained. All around very good to city to visit.
