A disappointing year in Bollywood thus far, Bollywood has seen a failure in every genre of film making. Thrillers, family dramas, romances, science fiction, horror they´ve all gone down disappointingly. Director Anees Bazmee who previously directed the super hit re-make of French Kiss is back with Deewangee. Deewangee was once plagued with problems but couldn´t have found a better time to release as one of the main leads, Ajay Devgan, is having a stupendous year. Not to forget Akshaye Khanna´s hit thriller Humraaz in which he surprised audiences with his negative performance. Akshaye hopes to hit it three in a row (Dil Chahta Hai, Humraaz). Be ready to be deceived by what you hear from previews
Movie starts off with a gliterrous party scene and urmila being introduced as a singer and the album company celebrating its 7th album's platinum jubilee ..wow !!..amazing but sad the music in the whole of the movie rocks from bottom...huh!!! The music industry has been rightly intimated in this whole movie...one thing to be appreciated...urmila meets akshaye khanna in the party of the celebration and mama mia likes the lady of heart a la senorita and a senti dialogue ''agar maa kee kami mehsoos huyi toh ghar ajaanaa beti..'' Second scene a murder of the owner of the music company and alarm raised by the workers and the culprit caught ''who else Ajay Devgan''...with blood on hands...by the police...trail goes ahead in to the court of akshay when the sizzling lady approaches the young gun for taking up the case note:- he never failed nor is destined to fail is the saying of the entire world about his work as a lawyer ..!
He gets Wrapped in the plot designed by Ajay Devgan and is entanced in to the worst nightmares he can ever face that is deceived by a criminal ..and getting off the cluthes of law.. a wonderful yet skinnily trimmed plot of split personality is played here and Ajay DevGUNS here ..with his excellent performance..though aint one of my fav actors he steels the show in this particular phase of the movie...and in the second half it is a bolly wood version of the Primal fear {We have creativity of our own too aint buddy we aint loosers shrug}....play to play plot to plot destined by the stewart lawyer encloses on every time on the goon as usual in hindi movies ...but gets escaped ..working with a plan he zeroes on him but the end is sedate in a controversy to the first half the film closes on pale note and ..i remember one of my friend proclaiming the movie to be a suspence thriller ..i would laugh out loud it aint a thriller buddy just another melo drama with out spice in it ..
P.S I guess I vent given the full version by mistake in the first go ....it was because ofa minor lapse ..hope it is made by this !!
