I've been using deeshe chimney at my home in Delhi for about last 3-4 years. Previous model I bought around 3-4 years back. Like any machine that worked fine for around 1 and a half year. But it started creating problem like noise and buttons stopped working.
I called customer service center for d complaint and their service adviser told us that motor need to be changed and metal quality becomes poor and buttons are also need to be changed, that time the machine is out of sale warranty, so he suggest us to exchange it with new model Slimline and he also told us that Slimline is their new variant and it wouldnt create noise and problem. We believed him and bought Slimline in the end of year 2009. It worked fine for about a year, but within a year it started making much noise that noone could talk in the kitchen while this Deeshe Slimline chimney is on. we have extended the warranty before it, so I called up the service center.
The lady picked up the phone who talk very rudely and told me that the service adviser will come within 24 hours. Service adviser came day after that and he told us that motor needs to be change. day after that he sent another person with a rusty motor which he is going to change with the current one. I asked him why the motor is not sealed and why it is so rusty. he told me that they only have these kind of motors in their company. I sent him back and directed him to come back with new motor as I dont want to change old/used motor.
He never came back. after about 2-3 weeks I called the service center again to inquire about the complaint, they told me that the complaint was closed, I asked them how they close the complaint without resolving the problem. then they registered the complaint again regarding the same issue. again service adviser brought the used/rusty motor, at that time I was not present, and my mother sent him back with direction to come back again with new sealed motor for which I have got the extended warranty. they never came back and now after a month I called service center again and a lady picked up the phone and I told her about this, she talked me in a very rude manner and say that "the company only has rusty motors which nobody can say that these are used", she says that "motor is made up of iron and it has tendency to caught rust, if you want to choose amongst the best one you can come over here and choose, but we cannot provide sealed motors or the motors which doesnt have rust" and then put the phone down, then I again called her and took the complaint number.
Bottom line is that one can easily see from the desshe company website that this company is only working in Delhi-NCR and as I felt with these experience that they just assembled the machine with cheap parts which works fine only for 8-10 months, and then sent a person for extended warranty, who assure that you would not get any more trouble. but unfortunately every single words are just fake and I am very much dissatisfied from the service and product quality. I suggest to invest only Rs1000 or Rs2000 more and get any other brand so that you would not get humiliate by this company.
