After a long time, there comes a light movie with a Brownian medlay of recurring chain reactions or say-A catch 22 situation bundled with a series of never ending misunderstandings.
The movie starts with enslaved Akki, working in Singapore under a business woman played by Archana Puran Singh, who loves a small doggy and demands respect for it from him. He wants to get away from all this and marry Katrina.
The other part starts with Paresh Rawal, a recurring dowry aspirant and fraud. He wants to get his son married to Sameera Reddy,
At times it did become boring especially where one is left thinking what would happen next. Johnny lever has retained his identity, Shakti Kapoor rocks. You'll never know how 3 hours passed laughing.
I was never impressed with Katrina’s acting, yet in this movie she has really molded herself in a spectacular performance, especially in the song “Baarish ka din”. Akki-Sunil duo is great, but all points go to the master performer Paresh Rawal. Chunkey Pandey and Vikram Gokhale were surprisingly found here.
The series of events have been experimented upon in a new way, definitely the film lacked in tying different events together, but overall a good show and who can forget laughing till the brim when Akshay remarks “Chhie”.
The end was somewhat sooner them expected, I think they should have placed a hit song there or even errata in shooting.
Definitely a worth watch and same stuff done differently-designed for making serious and depressed laugh on the floor.
