I sent my Maruti Swift VDI - Car No. DL9C X 6321 for repairing to DD Motors Maypuri Workshop. Their person came to pick the car from my doorstep. After taking car to the workshop Mr. Jagmohan Sharma from Workshop called me and started telling me various faults in the Car.
I already told him there are 2 major complaints in the Car - A/C not working and Coolant is leaking from inside. I told him not to do servicing of the car as it has already been done. He was hardly interested to listen to my Major complaints and started telling me - "Oil change karna padega, suspension bhi gaya, a/c condenser is not working so we need to change it also told me 2-3 other things to increase the billing amount.
I somehow guessed his intention that he is just trying to make me fool and increase the bill amount and his commission. He was trying to use technical words and jargons that normal people don't understand. After insisting too much I told him to go ahead and do the normal things needed in the car+ the complaints that I made while giving the car.
Final Situation when I went to get my car to their workshop - They charged a bill of around Rs. 5, 500 without even solving the major complaints. Now the coolant is still leaking, car is still getting hot, a/c is not working. Car is still in the same condition as earlier but I have paid an extra amount of 5, 500 to DD Motors due to my mistake.
My advice to all - Beware of these thugs when you give the car to them especially Jagmohan Sharma. Ask for price of each and every item when they tell you because they will make a fool of you if you are not aware of technical things.
They just want to increase the billing of every car that comes to them for servicing as maximum as possible because they will get commission/incentives.
