The Animal is here!. Review on Dave Batista

David Batista is a WWE wrestler who is a former World's Heavyweight Champion. Although he is currently out of action due to an injury, the ''Animal'' as he is called, still remains a crowd favourite. Let's take a look at Batista's awesomely successful career so far.

EARLY CAREER

Batista wanted to join professional wrestling as early as 2000 but was told he would never make it. However, wrestling offers did come his way and he battled wrestlers like Doug basham and Kane before he became a full-time WWE wrestler in 2002. He was appointed as D-Von Dudley's sidekick by World Wrestling Entertainment. Batista made his WWE debut as D-Von's tag team partner and pinned Randy Orton in his first match itself. Batista was then transferred to Raw where he quickly established himself as a monster of a wrestler.

JOINING EVOLUTION

Batista joined the ''evil stable '' of Triple H, called Evolution. The creative team at WWE unveiled him as a ruthless and overtly violent animal. As a member of Evolution, he tasted his first WWE gold when he became one-half of the World Tag Team Champions along with Ric Flair. He went on a rampade cruelly attacking and demolishing any wrestler who dared to challenge his wrath.

ROYAL RUMBLE

Batista entered the Royal Rumble in 2005 against the wishes of stable leader Triple H. To everyone's surprise, Batista went on to win the Royal Rumble. He earned the right to challenge JBL or Triple H himself at Wrestlemania 21. Batista made his choice very clear when he signed the contract to fight against Triple H for the Heavyweight Championship. This is elicited applause from the crowd, who wanted to see Triple H lose the Heavyweight Championship.

WRESTLEMANIA

Batista defeated Triple H on 3rd April 2005 to win the Heavyweight Championship. This was the first time he had been a main-event at Wrestlemania and showed everyone that he was capable of staying at the top. Batista was transferred to Smackdown! in June 2005. There, he defeated JBL to retain his prized possesion- the Heavyweight Champiuonship.

INJURY

Fate raised its ugly head when Batista was injured early in 2006. As a great champiuon, he decided to forfeit the Championship. All WWE fans are eagerly awaiting his return...
