Dasavatharam-an epitome or not?. Review on Dasavatharam Movie

I have found most reviewers on Internet tried to narrate the story instead of reviewing it. I swear , this content will sure sound like a real movie review.

REVIEW:

The plot of Dasa does have the gravity to attract audience but the story is quite erratic.There are actually two types in story writing.First way, is to write a story and then choose the characters. And the other case is obviously the reverse of the first case.I would say Dasa is a perfect blend of the above two cases.The reason why I say is because u can't fix the 10 grandiose roles randomly first and then write a story which make

The characters play the plot harmoniously.On the other hand lets write the story first.Normally a story is written which revolves around the theme.so, where is the probablity of giving equal importance to all the characters??? This story of Dasa is perfectly planned in such a way that all the 10 characters should be remembered by the audience after leaving the theater along with the inevitable rule that they should not deviate from the plot.Also thanks for a non-blatant movie!!!

The length of the movie is about 210 minutes.The director and the Hero should have discussed to have abated this movie to a time span of 180 minutes atleast.They should understand the fact that even the flamboyant effort and zenith of Direction will not make the audience feel comfortable to sit on a chair for 3 and a half hours.We also have to accept the abberation(A Difference) in this movie and the writer(Kamal) deserves the prize.

Technically speaking, the movie disappoints me a little because they claimed that the sequences in this movie is no less compared to what we see in the Hollywood movies.The baneful climax scene is an example which could have utilised the Computer Graphics(CG) better.I came to to a conclusion that this movie is a typical super-hero movie because of Fletcher involving stunt scenes.

Lets review the movie as a layaman.The first 30 minutes of the movie is absolutely fantastic.From that peak the movie takes a Roller coaster ride.We find it really hard to trace the path but this roller finally reaches home safely.Asin's character in the

12'th century is tailored to do crying scenes.Ravikumar(Director) has done a wonderful job in making "Kallai mattum" song.The director has taken very less time to describe the Chaos theory and Butterfly effect which forms the base of the movie.Atleast, he could have explained it at the end how the deleterious Virus reached the seashore exactly at the time of Tsunami because of the 9 characters done by Kamal.

The main story Starts in USA scientific lab where some moral virtues and human values are explained.I expected this movie to be adorned with a great BGM where they failed desperately.Its so deliberate to handle a movie like this when it comes to BGM.That work should have had done by Illayaraaja or Rahman, not some inexperienced like Devi sri prasad.As for as the songs are concerned Himesh has given what is expected from him.

Asin plays a gibber brahmin girl in the 20'th century.Garrulous indeed! She used to gainsay for whatever kamal says.She always cadges Kamal for her Perumaal idol.

Sometimes she sounds so annoying.The old lady which is happened to be played by kamal is so artificial.Govind is a Candid guy who wants to save the world from the Jeopardy situation.

On the whole the second half is fatuous untill the climax.Balram naidu tries to crack some laughter has succeeded to some extent.The tall guy, Kung-fu teacher, POP singer, George Bush and poovaraagavan were not given a mighty role but helps to prove the Butterfly Effect.

Asin should have been used as a Zephyr amidst the fast screenplay.Mallika sheravat's character is tailored to perfection and so is her dress.

Apart from all these Positives and Negatives this movies still stands tall, all because the effort, hardwork, passion and dedication from The Real Universal Hero.

Director K.S.Ravikumar has done a commendable job in Scenes where more than 2 Kamal appears on the screen.He really deserves something great, may be an Oscar for the risk

Involved in making that trick.Make-up artist Michael Westmore helped making a difference in Indian Cinema.Ravi varma's camera and lighting helped significantly to this success.Ravi Kumar's blazing screenplay helped it look like a normal length movie.Its

Kamalhaasan's job to do something new, enlight the people, break the boundaries and reach places.And thats what he did, challenging everybody in this field of work around this globe.I hope he will continue do the the same.
