I was LUCKY enough or BLESSED I should say! to get the Ticket for the FIRST SHOW of Dasavatharam in Sathyam Theatre Chennai.
What a GREAT movie Kamal has made.First HATS OFF TO HIM.This movie has created huge expectations(i dont want to call it a HYPE) like any another big budget movie.But Fortunately unlike the others it PROVED that its WORTH MORE for carrying such expectations and the waiting period of 2 yrs!
Its a VISUAL treat for the Film goers and especially for the film buffs who want to see REAL GOOD QUALITY movie.I would certainly not reveal the secrets of the movie and you all better go and get Awestruck with the performance of Kamal.
The Story is simple enough to understand by any one( All Happens for Good or you can say There is always Goodness in Bad things also! coupled with FAITH) re-establishment of FAITH) and the way it was presented make this movie even more STUPENDOUS.Excellent Screenplay by Kamal.The Introduction of the movie for the First 20 min will make you feel .U GOT UR MONEY BACK!.It will be more appreaciated by the people who belong to that community or you should have known the history.Its a visual depiction of what happened in 12th Century BC. Luckly it does not hurt sentiments of either Shaivaites or Vaishnavites. All the 10 avatars of kamal was SUPERB and nicely carfted each of their roles in the movie.Lukcly there is no Comedy Track, Unsync Songs or Fights.All these are blended with the strory line.The Screen play so crisp that you will reach the Intermission in no time and you will feel that you have not turned your head till that time.
The second half is more important part as .how the risk or the villian will be tackled by the hero.Its not a Entertainment movie which you will forget after some min/days.It will be a MOVIE with Message and its utmost suited the current environment which we and our future generations going to live in!
Coming to the Technical Dept of the Movie.Simple I dont have enough words to describe as it still not out of the movie impact even after 3 hrs.So my rating would talk.
Camera/Cinematography: 4/5
Comupter Graphics(CG): 10/5.The Graphics scene are best in the Industry.Nearly to Hollywood quality! Yes we can be proud of that hereafter!
Music: 3/5 Songs are reviwed already but I am so happy that Devi Sri Prasad(Background Score) has not done a BAD work either.He was apt and limited to the need of the story.Well managed by Kamal.
Lyrics: 4/5.good job
Stunts: 4/5.Excellent scenes and the Last Fight of the Villain with Japanes Avatar is Excellent.Becos its a physical fight and not made of CG.
Direction: Well K.S.Ravikumar is goood.but we all know that He was totally driven my KAMAL.
Editing: 4/5.Excellemnt.I cud not find any Unrelevant scenes in the movie!
Cast: Asin: 5/5: She has done a NEVER BEFORE role and had a great role to play thruout unline other Heronies and she also done a Fabulous job in Dubbing
Kamal: 8/5 . All the 10 roles are Extremely played by Kamal.HE PROVED THAT HE IS A UNIVERSAL ACTOR!(AS THE SONG GOES.ULLAGA NAYAGAN!)
OVERALL RATING OF THE MOVIES GOES LIKE THIS.Sorry dont expect a number here.i cant restrict by a numeric here!
