Six stories one ending, six stories, SIX STORIES ONE ENDING, SIX STORIES ONE ENDING am I saying this one time too many? This is coz that is what Darna Mana Hai's caption is. Is the movie promoted wrongly or I am the only one interpreted the caption as Six stories having one common ending? If yes then definitely the movie is not promoted properly in it's previews.
The only reason I felt like watching Darna Mana Hai was
a) Coz it is a Ramgopal Varma movie.
b) Coz I have seen Bhoot and liked it.
c) Coz this movie has a big star-cast.

Similar to the already nice movie Bhoot this flick too has a huge star-cast. Am I right here or should I say that this movie has large number of Stars in guest appearance. This movie has almost everyone Ramgopal Verma has ever worked with or had wish to work with, I guess except Urmila. Nana Patekar, Vivek Oberoi, Raghuveer Yadav, Rampal Yadav, Antra Mali, Sohiel Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Isha Koppikar, Shilpa Shetty, Sanjay Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani, Sameera Reddy, Shushant Singh, Channel [V] VJ Gaurav and so on... the entire cast is just wasted. Performance wise only Raghuveer Yadav, Nana Patekar and Vivek Oberoi are worth appreciation. Antra Mali is better than most of the others. All other seems to wonder whether the scriptwriter is a psycho or what?

Seven friends scaring each other by scary ah ah rather funny stories. Only story no. 1 and story no. 5 are the only part of the movie that leaves some impression on the audiences. Rest is just crap. At a point in the fifth story I felt curious about the end of the movie coz the caption said Six Stories One Ending. But the end of the movie left me in disappointment. Even the background score is predictable... with all scary music at sudden times? I can tell you the stories in detail but what's the point, it's just not worth writing. Except the first and the fifth story rest with apple eating, homework doing, no smoking and playing stop and move is literary torture. While these stories are being told the Seven friends disappear giving weird reasons like I m getting scared or I want a blanket or I'll just go and check on the girls or the car or I'll talk to the script writer and tell him to change the stories or something like that. There is no scope for songs like Bhoot that's one good thing about Darna Mana Hai and the only thing common with it.

From my point of view Darna Mana Hai is made by over-looking it's caption or it has a wrong caption? The star cast and their performance save it from total insult or maybe one can say the good performance of some actors from the huge line is the pros of this movie or else it got nothing absolutely nothing. The regular love story ''Mein Prem Ki Dewaani Hoon'' captioned ''I will love him till the end of time'' and even the worst movie of all times ''Qayamat'' captioned ''City Under Threat'' seem to do justice to their captions but ''Darna Mana Hai'' has nothing to do with it's caption (totally my view). Ramgopal Verma is famous for his so called ''hutkey'' movies but after seeing Darna Mana Hai I feel maybe Mien Prem Ki Dewaani Hoon and Qayamat be bad movie over-all but Darna Mana Hai is like ''mirage'' it attracts and disappoints.
