Hello MS ...My gawd it has been a long long time ...I am sure half of u wldnt even rmber me ...but never the less the love for writing n my peramanent space to voice my opinion on MS I knw will 4ever b there....
So after braving a hectic 4 months of booooks, fests, accidents n viruses ...I am back ....and back to write abt a movie which has disoriented my braisn to sucha level that man I am one of those ' typical main kaun hun kya kar rahi hun'.
Okie the film in question here is '' Darna Mana Hai'...celebrating my new found independence after my gruelling exams...I decided to trade a lunch date for this flick n man nething else 'pakofied'wld have atleast filled my growling stomach...this was one total dimag pakofying flick which wld have left ne sane person with a feeling of total guilt at having subjected his senses to sucha classic case of ' avoidable as plague' genre of movies.
Well the story begins on a happy note with 7 school friends....who decidde to take a trip to ...no prizes for guessing ...well Mr. farhan Akthar ....4 reintroducing Goa into our lives...when their car breaks down...n they decided to spend time by telling each other spooky (???????) stories .....
My best pick for the most authentic laugh riot wld be the ''apple' story my gawd......okie I have to tell u this...Shilpa Shetty buys haunted apples n neone who eats the apples ....no doesnt fall asleep AKA sleeping beauty but turns into an .....APPPLE...yea this is basically a concept which goes' An apple a day can defiently keep ur husband away'' coz well he will turn into an apple....
Next is the adorable cute Vivek oberoi...who is this swashbuckling dude who is unruffled by the fact that he has a ' ghost' for company in the from of Nana Patekar...who later turns out to be a VJ for Bakra n guess wat the reason why Vievk isnt scared is that ...Vivek is the ghost himself....
n last the Aftab story .....my god......He puts the ' Statue of liberty ' to shame with his 'striking' pose....he can literally stop n start the world ...well the little game called ' London statue ' we used to play as kids is put to full use here...
And as the tales unfold...each of 7 get killed by a psychopath(Sushant singh) who claims jo dar samjo mar gaya....n at the end of all ....the end is party time as my friends put it ....they 7 are back together again....n this time as 'spirits'...n my friend was only too loud to comment ' lucky us the movie will have to end now ''...if there was one reason Darna Mana hai was scary that was coz I was in a crowd of 100 people in a theathre which accomadates 800....
