If you are tired watching episodes of Aahat on the small screen for a change go and watch few episodes of Aahat (to be precise six episodes) on the BIG SCREEN the only difference is that Aahat has been renamed as ''DARNA MANA HAI''.
After Bhoot, Darna Mana Hai is one more so-called Horror film from the production house of Ram Gopal Verma. I am just confused as to why Ramuji is behind scaring people, but friends be rest assured, in the process of scaring viewers he has succeeded in making them laugh. It seems Ramuji has got confused between Horror and Comedy.
The story opens with seven friends returning from Goa. On the way back their vehicle breaks down in a Jungle. They are scared of darkness and loneliness all around. One of the group members (Sameera Reddy) sees a light at a long distance. They decide to go there and take shelter till break of dawn. On reaching the spot they find that there is no one around. They occupy the place and start telling stories to kill the time. Each one tells one story and each story can be called an episode.
Sameera begins to tell the first story, which is quite similar to their incidence.

All the six episodes over and six of seven group members missing the final one Sameera Reddy comes across a guy (Sushant Singh) who tells her that it is he who has killed all her group members just because they were afraid and according to him ''JO DAR GAYA WOH MAR GAYA, ISLIYE - -DARNA MANA HAI.
Has Sushant really killed six of the group members what happens to Sameera how does she escape from Sushant. What happens to Sushant if he has killed the group members why? To get answers to all these questions watch it on the big screen but whatever it is do not get scared as..... DARNA MANA HAI
Ramuji chalo maana DARNA MANA HAI par Daraana to mana nahin hai, yaar daraane ki koshish to kee hoti aur phir kehte DARNA MANA HAI.
Performance wise I am unable to comment on anyone's performance as each and every character has a role of about 10 minutes, which is too short a period to comment on a person's role. I do agree that many of you may be telling that even 10 minutes is a pretty long time to access a persons acting calibre but in such a massive star cast

In a movie of 110 minutes and with more than 14 stars each persons share comes to hardly 8.5 minutes so friends I am extremely sorry I am unable to comment on the performance. Just by reading the list of star cast do not get scared as DARNA MANA HAI.
Music: Nothing great about the background score
Direction: Excellent direction, the movie has been directed in such a way that even if you go out of the hall for about 30 minutes you will not face any difficulty in understanding the movie. As you must have missed out just one of the six episodes and none of the six episodes are either inter-related or makes any sense.
Editing: Does not have any sense in this movie, as editing plays a vital role to maintain the continuity of the movie and in Darna Mana Hai there is no question about continuity.
Prayer:
O God please give me the power that you had given to Aftab, if you give me the power to stop things I will help cine viewers, by saying STOP to Ram Gopal Verma and his unit whenever Ramuji starts shooting of such a movie. I will also be careful and see to it that I never say MOVE in their unit.
Recommendation:
Darna Mana hai yaar par Dekhna to Mana nahin hai.
