Ram Gopal Verma's 2nd Horror flick (well kind of) - Darna Mana Hai. To be Honest, I really have a mixed opinion about the movie. It had it's goods and bads and overall, I got my money's worth. So, Let's start with the good things.
7 Friends on a trip to Goa. Their car breaks down and Boom!! The fun begins. I definitely thought the Creepy
Yellow shirt boy was the one doing this all. He looked weird. But then again, it would've been just to obvious then?
Well, they reach this place which had a lantern glowing. They sit down and start with the stories. The ones with Arbaz Khan and Antra Mali, Oberio and Nana Patekar as well as the one with the Homework were the more appealing ones then the rest.
I found the apple one more humorous then Frightening. Eat an apple and you turn into one. ohhh Scary! (Sarcasm). The Stop/Move thing was also funny, and that's not a compliment considering the movie wasn't a comedy or anything. The ''No smoking'' One was somewhat weird, but it was decently done.
Perhaps what annoyed me was the end. They could've done a better job with the finale. I mean, why was that guy murdering the friends? Just so they wouldn't fear anything? Uh! Not a good reason.
But I won't factor the finish. Over all, I Liked the movie. Nana Patekar was good as always. The MTV Bakra thing was quite funny. Vivek Oberoi being the bhoot was quite a twist.
One last thing - In the end of the movie, when the friends or their spirits are sitting down together, staring at their dead bodies - where was that Channel [V] VJ? Was he alive or something?
