We booked Sea Pricess for staying at Murud Harne beach. It was one of the worse decision we made.
We were allotted rooms which are newly built and are yet to be ready for customers. But due to demand I guess, we were serviced with these.
Rooms are very poorly furnished. What you get is a bed and a box. I am afraid to call it cupboard. A mirror at corner and attached bathroom. No chairs, no sidetables, no stool. virtually nothing to keep your belongings.
Turkish towels provided were themselves so dirty that you would need another shower after drying yourself.
Shower doesn't work. 3 people visited and tried making its knob rotate to either release water or stop. But no use.
Flooring is so badly finished that you would feel as it you are walking on beach even in your rooms.
If windows are say 4 X 6, curtains are also 4 X 6. They are so light that if you start fan they will decide to hide wall upwards and touch ceiling. With them either you loose privacy or suffocate without air. Remember it's an AC room with AC just fitted and will work for a minute just to show you it is not a dummy box.
Bathrooms are dirt. They are not cleaned or polished. I got my bare foot cut because of cement which was not removed.
At any hotel near beach you would expect some facility to dry your cloths. Either inside or outside room. You won't find any strings here. Even we had one but could not use because there was nothing to tie to.
There is no room service nor a telephone. You need to yell standing in corridor even if you need water to be refilled. And be patient because no one will address your needs in one call. At least you need to tell 2 to 3 people to get what you want.
There is solar system. But you will not get hot water. You need to ask for it in morning only. Then someone would come and take the sole bucket you have to get you water. They don't have extra one. So, either you get dressed well in morning to stand in corridor and call. err. Request the staff to get water for you. Then develop your biceps by carrying that in or let them in and mess up with your privacy. 10. Water is one of basic human need. But at Sea Princess you need to mention that is not a case. In one of our rooms we did not get a water jar or glasses during our entire stay after numerous reminders.
In the bathrooms there is no arrangement to keep even your towel leave alone your used cloths or new ones.
With all this mess, what's worse is you leave everything lying over bed or that box and expect room cleaning to happen in your absence. When asked to clean it when you are around the staff is prompt to answer that they are busy and will leave forever after assuring you to come back in an hour.
To add spice to whole recipe we found that in the night at 11.30 or so in futile attempt to start AC we end up loosing our fans and night lamp as well and sweating like a hell.
They don't have cold water to drink, unless you PURCHASE bisleri water. Only bisleri is cold. And they will also ensure that the count of bottles you purchased would never match.
The lunch/dinner is decided by them and the menu is pathetic. As they get the food cooked from some near-by place, you have to order the stuff before 30 to 40 mins before your desirable eating timings. For breakfast you will get some standard items but only after 8.30 am as they need to get that from some am as they need to get that from some other place as well.
