I got the information about Seaprincess resort through colleagues and Pune trip adviser reviews. Before finalizing I met Shirish Talathi(who runs the resort with others) in Pune personally and got more information. I liked the photos of the resort and finally decided to go for it. It was great experience for us. Stayed for one night with wife and son.
The rooms are pretty simple, good, neat, clean and affordable.Play area in garden for kids to play is well maintained. Seaprincess has ample parking area. The Private Beach next to resort is very clean and well maintained. Since there are no other resorts or HOTELS beside Sea Princess, the beach is almost like a private virgin beach for the resort. The resort is just on the beach at the same time very near to the main road and Harnai port.
Rooms are very neat and clean no mosquitoes and cockroaches. May be because no food is allowed in the room. We need to go out in common area for tea/breakfast/lunch/dinner. Restaurant has good food, drink at reasonable prices, which is nice because there are no alternatives within walking distance. This resort has some amazing cooks and they do make some awesome vegetarian dish for breakfast/ lunch/dinner(no clue on non veg stuff as we are pure vegetarians)
Dining hall is very spacious and outside dining hut is very airy and facing the beach.It has a beautiful and huge space for eating with the beach view. One has to agree that you almost feel like you are having food on the seashore! We liked the arrangements for tap & showers with lukewarm water at the entrance while coming back from beach. One can wash and then proceed to room which was a big relief. My son and self enjoyed dolphin watching tour which was an awesome experience and remembered for long.
There is no room service but the staff is prompt in service(and also in asking for the bill payment in cash:-) It is a nice place for couples as well as corporate / informal group. Overall, good resort and nice place to stay especially if you are with a group or family. We were very happy with our experience. For us it was a Paisa vasool trip. One needs to carry enough cash as all the spending including room rent needs to be paid in cash. Pity is that barring few service providers you will not get network connectivity for no.1 service provider in India.
