Story has been based on wrestler Mahavir singh Phogat from Haryana. Mahavir singh wants to see his son has won gold medal for country but no hopes because His wife had given birth to daughter for 4 times. so he became hopeless and had become busy in day to day routine(job). once Mahavirs daughter geeta and babita beats to neighbours boy and history takes place after that by geeta and babita in wrestling. journey of winning god medal by geeta and babita under trainer of Guru Mahavir phogat has been shown in Dangal.
Acting by Amir khan is awesome. both geeta and babita also well acted. Songs has been played in movie on right places. "Bapu sehat ke liye" was very nice to listen.
Over all till interval movie is entertaining very good. However I don't think it was not better than 3 idiot.
you can see this movie with family. while watching movie you will be inspiring.
I would say it is watchable for one time.
