I would say this is a good review. However.'The quest for glory is not noble. It is, for both biological and cultural reasons, a fundamentally male quest. It is a bug and not a feature; not a strength, but a weakness to be overcome'. wait, WHAT?! This is the author of the review philosophizing - in spite of all his issues with women being portrayed as mere instruments in the movie, his mind is still an instrument of his gender prejudice, if not misogyny. The quest for glory is a human quest. Whether this quest is due to weakness or strength is subjective. Many exceptional women subscribe to it - Dipa Karmakar and Kalpana Chawla come to mind - and perhaps Mr Verma should write an article on reasons why he postulates that the quest for glory is male. A statement that I hope my daughter, presently questing for glory by representing her school in an inter branch sports meet with great verve, NEVER HEARS.
