Dandeli is just an overnight journey from bangalore. Regular ksrtc buses are available.*
We stayed at dandeli jungle camp at pradhani and the food there was excellent!!!!
*They provided a nutritious and fair spread for breakfast, lunch and dinner.. The food and stay was warm and homely...
Not much shopping can be done in this town.
Though **not many animals can be spotted in the sanctuary and it all depends on one's luck, the safari through the forest and the visit to syntheri rocks is great!
We had done online booking and they offered us some activities in the package which were good..these activities are spaced such that there is enough time for adventure sports like rafting, kayaking etc.(they are at extra charge)
Mosquito repellant, camera, binoculars are must haves.
