2 day tour to Dandeli. Review on Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary

Hi. I have been to Dandeli for two day tour.(Oct 30th and 31st). My first obesrvation is that better to carry basic model of mobiles than smart phones to have better signals in Dandeli. It's one of the beautiful places in Karnataka. We had spent 1st half of first day for water sports and been to Crocodile point and Molangi falls in evng. I didn't think 2nd half is as good as first half. We went to Safari in the morning of 2nd day and then gone to synthetic rocks. In nut shell, experience of Safari is nice but we didn't see many wild things except few deers which is purely depends on luck. View of jungle from shiroli peak is the best part of safari. We have been to Sykes point and Birds Sanctury in evening. Sykes point is the best place in Dandeli to see. You can enjoy it more if u go for it in evening. You won't be allowed for it unless u take prior permission. We had problem with our car driver whom we have booked through telephoic talk. Then we got mobile no. of this Jafar(ph. 9902683879) from Idlee Shop resort. He is so polite and humble and one of the best guides/drivers without whom visit to Sykes point won't happen . Unfortunately we didn't make our visit to Cavala Caves due to improper planning. Kindly keep it immediately after Safari visit in morning to save time. You have to start for it at 9 A.M only and atleat 6 members should be there to go for Cavala Caves.( 600/- per person+ 200/- for guide). Cavala caves takes a lot of time, energy and money too. So think and plane twice before making it part of visit. We stayed in Idlee Shop. It's nice place to stay and food is good. We enjoyed the night fire. If members are more it will be more fun at Dandeli. If u r interested in doing rafting pls. confirm whether the water levels are ready for it or it. It won't be conducted regularly like other water sports due to its specific requirements. All the best and have fun. 2 days are enough for Dandeli if u plan properly without forgetting to carry basic model of mobile.
