Dalhousie is a hill station in Himachal Pradesh situated between 6, 000 and 9, 000 feet i.e 2, 700 m above sea level. The best time to visit is in the summer, and the peak tourist season is from May to September.
If you want to see the snowfall then the best time to visit is december-january.I have visited dalhousie in the month of jan and the same day when me and my friends are going snowfall happend. Our bus got stuck in between and we all had to go by walk.On the way to hotel we enjoyed a lot. It was an awesome experience. we played snow fight on the way.
Walking in snowfall is quite difficult, we were not able to see because snow was going in our eyes but we enjoyed the trip a lot.It is covered with snow always. the view from top is speechless. Words become less to describe the beauty of nature and the view which we can see from the top of the moutains.
The hotels are built on mountains and when they are seen from little distance far they look awesome.
