Excellent, Awesome, Super, Wonder Big Small Car* . Review on Daewoo Matiz

I am a Proud Owner of Daewoo Matiz 2000 Model single owner Car, I love My car a lot and will never even think to sell it . .It has everything that we can Expect from a Small car with 796-cc engine that produces 52bhp with a torque of 7.3kg-m. . It is Small from outside and has got quite Big interior Space.

I purchased it with 4 years warranty but got the Warranty for 2 years only from the authorised service statiion as Daewoo got Bankrupt in Korea at that time and its showrooms, Service stations got closed in india and some opened ones denied giving the warranty as they were not getting the same from Daewoo Motors . .

Overall Length 3495(mm) Overall Width 1495(mm) Overall Height 1505(mm) Wheel Base 2340(mm) Ground Clearance 170(mm) Front Track 1315(mm) Rear Track 1300(mm). It has great looks won many awards for its looks, Awesome Space: Interiors can hold much compared to space for a car of its size, Excellent Fuel Economy. Mileage with AC(City): 12 to 14, (Highway): 15 to 17. Depends totally upon Driving conditions. Front Seats are Extremely Comfortable, Excellent AC Cooling, Great Handling, Cheap Spare Parts, easly available in every Spare market across Delhi not sure about the rest of India, It can be serviced for Rs 800 to 1000. .

M-tec Engine with - Knock Sensor(some of the companies has just introduced this feature)Safest Car in its Segment: This car Matched to European Safety Regulations as it forms a protective shell around the passengers to protect them in case of serious accidents. It's the only car in India which successfully passed the stringent 40% Offset Frontal Crash Test at the time it was launched not aware about the same for the current cars available in Indian market .

It feels underpowered with AC on,

No after sales service from authorised service centres,

Very Bad Resale Value as of closure of Daewoo in india .

# Maintaining this car is quite cheap than most of the cars in same segment the only problem could be to get the Expert Mechanic and Genuine Spares(Big Concern). Do not get this car touched by untrained or by the unprfessionals as it may cause the severe problem as they will not be able to find the Exact issue with car and will just try their comman sense that they basically used in indian cars. .

# I believe that this car is still far better than the few cars available with 800 CC engine in the Indian market today . . Even better than some with 1000 CC engine .

Chevrolet Spark is the Next Gen Matiz part 2 which was to be launched in India by Daewoo Motors but due to the Bankrupcy and bad company Image amongst the indians it was launched under a different brand by General Motors and is doing fine . .

Few of my friends are using Matiz and are quite happy with it except the cons I mentioned above.

My car is around 10 years 5 Months old and it is like a old wine . .

I am planning to buy a new car but will never sell My Big Small wonder . .

It's a Gem . .
