Daawat Biryani Basmati Rice is one of the brands for basmati rice which is being recommeded by few chefs. But the product on reality hold no good reason to purchase with that price.
Price of a Kg packet is comparitively high with other brands. Quality of the product is not good. Rice grains are breaking down quickly. Speciality of basmati is longer grains which is special in biryani. But daawat failed make the point.
Aroma may be good in terms of eccenses used. But taste and quality one has to compromise. Daawat rice was advertised by a top chef but it clearly proofs that the chef gained contract for the ad but not the true speculation of the rice quality.
Even sulermarkets starts offers on Daawat biryani basmati rice like buy 1 and get another free. 3 packs at cost of 2 etc etc.
If you are making biryani at home please avoid this brand.
