Da Vinci-The name itself reminds us of the famous Italian painter Leonardo Da Vinci...This restaurant inspired by the famous painter and the Italian wines is a real,destined,Italian restaurant to be in!!
LOCATION:
This restaurant is located on the 32nd Road in Bandra next to the school Learners' Academy and the famous hangout Mac Craig!!
AMBIENCE:
The ambience is truly great!!
The whole atmosphere reflects a very soothing and peaceful environment!
The decor comprises of soft leather couches and iron tables along with chairs.
The whole restaurant reflects an Italian touch.The large variety of Italian wines which surround the whole restaurant adds to it!
There is also a small bar at the right hand corner inside the restaurant.
SERVICE:
The staff is always at your service and very friendly.
For the people who are not Italian food lovers,can ask the crew their recommendations which will always be your top priority on your list during your next visit!
DELICACIES:
The food are the delicacies when you see the prices of the tasty meals!!
The restaurant is known for its delicious pastas and spagettis!!The Pasta with Cheese Sauce and the Chicken in Tomato sauce are great too!
The Mushroom and Brocolli Pastas and Dishes are just amazing!!
There are dishes even for Prawn and Fish lovers!
The beverages include mocktails,ice-teas and a LARGE variety of wines!!
The desserts are amazing too!The chocolate mousse and the walnut brownie is heavenly!!
One can even choose their meals with the help of the ''Specials Board'' put up everyday!!It includes the choice of soups,starters,pastas,drinks and even desserts!!
PRICES:
The prices,according to me are the speciality of the restaurant!!
Each main course dish varies only from about rupees 100 to rupees 300!!The prawn dishes are a little expensive though,around rupees 350!
The desserts and drinks range from Rs.35 to Rs.100.
The wines are expensive obviously but cheaper compared to other places!
The price for a meal for four maybe approximately Rs.600-Rs.700 including the dessert too!
RESERVATION:
Reservation is an absolute must!
The place is crowded,jam-packed all the nights throughout the week!
As the accomodation is small,reservation becomes more compulsory!
Parking space is not valid,one can park in the adjoining two lanes.
CONCLUSION:
Da Vinci is a great Italian place.A great place to relax and feel serene where the price totally suits your pocket!!
And even though,the price is very reasonable,the place is very popular among many celebrities too-Malaika Arora and many Silver Screen Stars are very frequent visitors here!!
