Hello I am Bikram and I live in Nainital before writing this review let me tell you that I am a regular DTH user from past five years. dth is good than cable in many ways.now first let me tell you what are needs of a regular tv viewer and then we will compare whether dth or cable what fits it the most. NEEDS--
RANGE OF PROGRAMS-first thing needed is a wide range of programs.in cable there are not more than 150 channels while in dth there are more than 1500 channels, even more than that if you have subscribed for those channels.
*COST-
PICTURE QUALITY-it is the third most priority of any tv viewer .when we go after picture quality then dth's picture quality is always very clear very nice hd display.coming on to cable it does not have that sort of nice display.
another mesmerizing thing if you are a dth user and you have not subscribed or done recharge for the available plans then you can go for free to air channels and enjoy them free of cost .isn't it cool full on entertainment and that too free of cost.now I think you would have got why I was using dth from 5 years and why you should use it.friends cable is unable to stand in front of dth in all aspects whether it is cost, picture quality or the wide range of programs.
