The DTDC Courier is the company which takes too high courier charges and provide zero customer service. When any customer like me has to send or receive anything, we pay a huge cost but the company atleast should provide adequate services or proper communication with the customer! I do not recommend DTDC since the last incident that happened with me.
I ordered a pack of memory cards from eBay and the parcel was sent by DTDC and the gave an estimate that my parcel would reach my place in around 7 days. I kept tracking DTDC website for my order but no proper info was found there. 11-12 days passed on and I tried to contact DTDC and I failed as they did not respond to my calls.
When I made a complaint to the seller, they assured me that my parcel will reach me ASAP. I finally managed to contact the local DTDC office in my city and they told me that they had my parcel with them but they did not have any delivery man to deliver the parcel. WHAT WAS THAT! How could they say this?
The parcel was urgent to me, so I decided to pay them a visit. I reached them and they started searching for my parcel but could not find it. They apologized and assured that I will receive my parcel at my address the same day. I was annoyed and left the place.
To my surprise, after sometime I received a call from them telling me that they have found my pack and I should come to receive it! I ordered them to send it to my place and they responded that it would take one more business day because they do not have any delivery boy. This was really annoying. Why are you taking huge charges when you are not able to hire delivery boys. Finally I had to reach them and receive my pack.
This was really a bad experience where a lot of time and money was wasted due to the pathetic services of the DTDC courier service. I suggest everyone to look for other reliable options which provide better service at comparably low costs and with good customer support.
