DTDC courier is a private courier service. Only ones I have made a courier from this service and I had a worst experience from this service. Let me share this experience with you all so that you can have an idea of the service they provide.
I live in Pune and wanted to send some stuff to Chennai to my sister. So I packed it in a box and sealed it with a tape tightly and I know that no item can come out without removing seal. This courier service was near to house so I thought why to go long? So I went there and asked about their service. They said that the courier will reach the destination in 7-8 days. Then I said Ok.
They told me the charge for it was 230 ₹ which I paid there only and handed the box to them. Sixth day went, seven then even eighth day went, the courier reached on ninth day. My sister called on that day and told that the box was broken. In that box there were 2 clothes, 3 cream bottles and some eating stuff. And the things reached there were 2 clothes, 1 cream bottle, and eating stuff was tore and fallen down in the box.
2 cream bottles and some eating stuff were missing so I immediately went to there office and asked for the explaination. There saying was there must have been some mistake. So I even showed them the photo of how the box reached. So I asked for refund, they said they dont have that regulation. I just took off there.
I contacted DTDC courier customer service and told them every thing. They just said sorry and would take care of the thing to never happen again. And took the location of their service from where I couriered. They must just talked to them. But I lost my stuff couriering from here and even my money went waste.
Ao to say overall, I would never recommend anyone to do courier from here and I too would never do. Worst experience was that. I would say to rethink all to do courier from here.
