BEWARE OF DTDC Courier - A BIG FRAUD - I lost my Product worth Rs.60000/-
I am a customer of DTDC Courier service, I booked a parcel dated 2nd June 2014 with Docket Number: D17697707 From Surat Gujarat to Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Content: New Sony Bravia LED TV 46 inch Worth Rs.60000/- Value. I had taken DTDC Transit Insurance also. This shipment was completely damaged in transit by DTDC so Consignee did not accept delivery and returned that Parcel. The parcel was kept in HELD UP by DTDC for almost 4 months and I raised a refund claim of Rs.60000/- for this damage. I submitted all documents and claim form as demanded by them. After lots of followups and emailing, on 14th November 2014 they REJECTED my Claim by informing me on email. Claim rejection reasons they gave as as under:
- No Confirmation From Vigilance Inspite Of Mail From Corporate Office Dt 30.08.2014(Mail Attached) 2. Service Failure Not Established As To Who Is Responsible For The Service Failure And Who Will Bear The Claim Amount? 3. The Booking Franchisee Failed To Take Signature On The Consignment Note Copy.
Above reasons are their internal failure and as a customer, I have nothing to do with those stupid reasons. They have not provided me any written hard copy for this claim rejection. Everything is available on Email communications only. So all proofs I have is an Email conversion with them on this matter. I highlighted this matter to DTDC Top management but did not get any response from them too so finally I am seeking help from Consumer Forum.
My Conclusion: DTDC is a fraud courier company and there is nothing like customer care. their service is pathetic,
