I am writing this review as an indirect customer at the receiving end.
Many a times I had no option but to depend on DTDC since the sender chose this courier service (Online shopping sites or Credit Card/Bank correspondence like reward points redemption and so on).
1.The online site hangs many a times, or takes too long to load.
2.The cust care number – Wait time is too high (> 5 - 7 minutes) and if more than this, then the line automatically disconnects from the other end.
3.They ask you to call some other phone numbers for further info, however those are rarely answered!
4.Instances like ‘Address was not found’ have been often reported that too upon follow-ups. They don’t feel the necessity to explore a bit or try contacting the receiver on his/her mobile or use simple tricks to reach the receiver. E.g. Things like look for any back entrances to the buildings, recheck again, ask the security personnel and so on.
5.Address Not found, Door/Shop Closed, are common reasons they record in their tracking and you have to follow-up a lot with multiple people to finally get your parcel. They want to ‘Finish Off’ their work sometimes and not display the expected ownership.
6.May be they should change their motto (as heard on cust care number, music being played while on hold) from ‘DTDC Delivers On Time’ to ‘DTDC Somehow Delivers’
