This is my second bad experience with DTDC. Of course, I stopped using DTDC after first incident but second time I got to use as the destination person has insisted on using DTDC.
First time, they have lost my final settlement cheque, exp letter sent to my native place by my employer. They said they have lost at the destination. After rising concern with my employer, they have cancelled the cheque and issued me new one which I went and collected personally.
Second time (yesterday), I sent a courier of tablets for a heart patient two days back. The destination address is Bethamcherla, Kurnool (dt) of AP. However to my surprise, the shipment is routed to Ongole another place in AP. When I went to booking office the person over there said delivery is not of his concern and his job is to book the shipments only.
I tried calling all the customer care numbers (printed on the receipt and website) but no one picked up even after holding the line for 10 min. I went to DTDC office nearby the booking center. They said they will get back but did not call me even after a day. When I called them after a day, they rudely said they do not have any details of the shipment which is ridiculous.
So, overall my experience with DTDC is worst all the times. I request people not to use DTDC service at all and also request everyone to spread this.
