I don't want to complain but this transport company is not at all professional and not committed to customers. I hired this transport company with a confidence that the people in this company are genuine and reasonable while submitting their quotations. Although I had paid for transit insurance so that my furniture will not get damaged but to my utter surprise when I received my goods that was in very poor condition and almost 80% of my furniture got damaged. I demanded for compensation later on but in the mean time whatever dues I had to pay at that time I had paid to them with a confidence that I will be compensated as I did the insurance also. So, I did not bothered transporter when the goods arrived at my panipat home.
The DSL transporter Mr. Amarjeet Verma who may be the owner of this transport company tried to compensate me with my losses by saying that insurance company will take more time and will not pay whatever we are claiming. So, I agreed and they agree to pay me Rs. 25000/- as compensation against damage of furniture which is almost 1.5 lacs. They paid me Rs. 13000/- after follow up with them for almost 7 months. Now suddenly the owner stopped giving any response to my calls or messages.
First of all the losses made by them is not sufficient still I had to claim so that this practice will not continue with every customer.
but now I am really annoyed and will take up this matter legally with authorities and ask them for compensation for 3 lacs the mental torture and tension which we went through due to this transporter.
Let it be anything now, I will take up this matter seriously if they think that they can fool any customer then it is not at all tolerable in present situation.
