I would share my personal experience on DHL EXPRESS.It is renowned but proved to be over hyped and without importance or service .About a couple of years ago I shifted from uttarpara near kolkata to Maldah as my son got transferred and he wanted me to stay there from time to time.First he had left and I sent a few things like a couple of shoes and shirts, trousers on courier through DHL EXPRESS.I sent it and he received it within 4 days .He was not at home when it was delivered .
His land lords wife received it.Back home he opened the pack and saw that one shirt was missing .He got angry .He called at the number of the franchises and they acknowledged that later they had reopened the sack for further verification and then took out all materials from inside .They must have forgotten to keep the shirt inside .Now the question is why they knew it and discovered that they had overlooked a shirt to pack in the sack after the sack was on transit why they didn't call and acknowledge their offence!
They must have thought they would be admonished or abused .See if their thought was to prove to be right, it could have happened after the final delivery .Then what is the requirement of this drama.I think it is a desperate try to shun an untoward or unwanted situation that would have left embarrassed .I think they don't know how to service precious customers .They should not be trusted .Question is a franchise made a serious mistake albeit they sent the unsent shirt later but the organization has to take the onus .I would never ever trust this name .it is your turn whether you would do or not.
