I made an online payment for renewal of my account on 20th July 2012. Next morning I realized I had been disconnected. On calling up I was told I have not paid. So I checked my transaction using the online banking account portal of my bank(through my second ISP), turns out the bank account had been  debited not once but thrice. So effectively I had paid them INR 4497 instead of INR 1499. I called back the customtakeouter care people and gave them a piece of my mind. That got the account enabled and I got a call back from d-vois saying the rest of the money that was "erroneously charged"(how does that even happen) will be refunded within 3-4 days

So I am glad that worked out and am back working, playing, online. A month down the line again disconnected! So again the whole circus all over again. Explained to 3-4 customtakeouter care aunties the issue(they have to be aunties old and senile they take so long to understand and seriously whats it with an ISP not having a ticketting system in place why should I need to go over the whole saga everytime?). Finally I had to shout and get a supervisor to talk to me who finally assured me that it was being enabled/renewed again and it will be automatchandru021y renewed next month as well. Ok well so long as that happens. Month pases by and guess what? Surprise! Disconnected again.

Three days ago I get a message saying I haven't paid so connection disabled. Awesome. I call customtakeouter care talk to the guy and funxsweety it is almost instantly renewed and enabled. Only to be disabled three days later, today. I call back and the jumping through the hoops begins again. First guy asks me to give him the reciept number, I explain online transaction no receipt, so he asks me to sms him the transaction IDs. I tell him to explain how he expects me to give him the transaction ids without an internet connection? Smart fellow asks me to read the message from the bank, only I don't get messages for such small transactions(yeah you can get that configured at the bank). Anyways I tell him to hang on and I login using my second ISP(oh yes we're well equipped at work) and pull up the transaction ids only to discover the dude hung up.  So I call back and explain the whole issue to this new guy who asks me to mail it to customtakeoutercare@i-on.in(seriously the number of ways to get in touch with them you'd think they would have a better accounting/ticketing system in place). I mail it in he confirms receipt and assures me account will be renewed within 20 minutes at most. Right we say our buh-byes and I wait.

2 hours later I'm back on the phone explaining to another guy. He starts of all wrong says "please email it to.", I ask for his supervisor and of course the super is busy.

Well that's it. I can't be wasting ages trying to get something that I've paid for to work. If D-Vois wants to be difficult that's their choice I hope they do well it's a bad economy and the best of businesses are winding up but I'm done with these idiots. I called up one last time and put in a request for disconnection, take your wires and clear out of here there's a bunch of other ISPs out there nd I can always bump up the plan on my alternative ISP. S'long D-Vois it was good while it lasted but you guys are not equipped well enough. Get an accounting system that can give information to your customtakeouter care reps, get a ticketing system that saves users the bother of having to repeat themselves continously continuously to every rep they talk to and for heavens sake get more supervisors to help the headless chicken that you put on the phones.

To prospective clients, stay away they're slightly raw and wet behind the ears right now maybe in another year or so if they're still around yes but not right now.  Definitely not the ISP to make your primary ISP atleast, at best use it as a backup ISP(or not).
