This is the only restaurant in Delhi serving Chettinad-style South Indian food. Every meal begins with a chick-pea starter served with grated coconut and lemon. As an entrée, the chicken Amaravathi (strips of marinated chicken fried with onions and cashews) is hard to beat, though it might burn your taste buds. Seafood is a specialty; the prawns masala, served in a rich gravy, are good. To add, order the beans Porial, chopped French beans cooked with lentils, curry leaf and red chilis. All these foods are generally eaten with idiappam (steamed-rice pancakes); an order of creamy yogurt is another way to cool your palate. There is a full bar. The restaurant shares dining space with a Thai kitchen. The ambience is nothing special, the food is fantastic.
